We work with the Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT) and the University of Greenwich to provide coaching to Hebei school and college teams. Coaching focuses on the tactics, gameplay and game management that are required for success in modern competition.
Charlton Athletic has an enviable record of developing players – the National Academy Productivity Rankings sort clubs by the number of (male) graduates playing in the English Premier League or one of the other four top-flight European leagues (Spain, Germany, Italy, France). Over the period 2009 to 2021 Charlton were ranked 9th out of the 92 professional clubs in England, or 1st out of 72 if the English Premier League clubs are excluded.

2024 Football Improvement Camps
In conjunction with CACT we ran our first football coaching and improvement camps during July and August 2024.
A measure of the success of the programme was demonstrated when two teams, from Qinhuangdao No.1 School and Xingtai No.3 School, reached the knockout phase of that Autumn’s China Unicom Cup for the first time. (Unicom Cup is a national competition open to schools, colleges, universities and amateur football clubs, split into sections). In their section No.1 were beaten semi-finalists and No.3 winners in theirs, in both cases best-ever performances.
